Jojo is a  BS Compuer Science graduate from the Ateneo de Manila University. He’s currently working in a UN organization as an Information System Specialist.

Jojo’s story:
“We met in a friend’s wedding in June 2001. After the wedding, we kept the lines open but we didn’t hit it off right away.  Although we talk, we were busy with other things. In October that same year, I had my annual training in Cleveland, Ohio and Weng was also there visiting her sister. The Cleveland trip was fun and we had the chance to know each other better. We started dating when we were back in Vienna and after some months, my persistence finally paid off. “

Weng is a law graduate from the University of Vienna. While preparing for her bar exam, she is employed in a law firm as an associate.

 Weng’s story:
“One of my closest friends asked me to be one of her secondary sponsors in her wedding. I was thrilled and happily accepted the offer, not knowing that Jo would be the one holding the other end of the veil. I had my doubts, thinking that I would look like a tiny spot beside Jo during the march. Well, it turned out that it was the wisest decision I have ever made. After that wedding, Jo started acting a bit weird, would call me several times a day, send me flowers at home and fetch me from work. Yes, he went through all that. After a few months, inside a small church outside of Vienna, I finally said yes. Walking down the aisle beside Jo at my friend’s wedding felt really good….but on January 4 it would be a lot different…it would mark the start of our life together.”
